    Yay I'm covered.

Now to get back to work and off of FMLA. Recovering from my hernia surgery still. Lost my belly button. :( Battling infection and of all things a gastric leak.

Thank you IP for your incredible information. Always spot on!

As long as you held it nondriving job for the past five years or so you should be fine.

I believe they want 10 years if you were a driver.

Of course I post that find that iron pony already took care of it. :p

So yesterday I began my coursework for the college that is partnered with Prime. When they say accelerated it's no joke.

Wannabe here, talked with the Prime recruiter for about an hour yesterday but had a few questions more to ask here till I can call her again tomorrow.

I was charged but not convicted of grand theft, got adjudication withheld in Florida, will that be a problem?
Is the 600 gross or net a week?
Can someone explain if there's special driving insurance you need for truck driving and some sample figures for it?
Where does Prime run? I'd prefer to stay outta the NorthEast, NYC and all that, possible?

Thank you in advance and this thread has really helped me in feeling more prepared and relaxed about the process of Prime and excited to start in the industry in a month or so :D

Yes... depends on how long ago it was. If it's recent you'll have problems getting employment in this industry anywhere. Don't try not disclosing this, or any other legal problems you have had. They want honesty... as in complete honesty about all of this. The chips will fall where they will.

    Gross.

    It's covered by the carrier.

Reefer division is all 48, including the northeast, and NYC... although we don't deliver in the 5 boroughs. We do have some stuff that goes up into Long Island, and our fuel routes take us through the city on I95. You may not like it, but you will go there.

    Good luck.
