Not officially. I used to drop my trailer at Petro or Pilot and bobtail over. After the construction is finished it should be easier to get in there. There's a bus lot around back, but with all the construction going on it might be a hassle.

    Late Update:

Sorry, burnt out in this seventh week on the road. That hose cost $332 to fix.

I'm going to Cali so I need to buy some chains on the way. I'll hit up Prime in Salt Lake City.

Haven't got my message about the parts yet but I have to ride back out of CA anyway. Hopefully on a southern load.

I've got the house back on track so I'll be buying the laptop of my dreams soon.

    Later guys.

I am sure you are burnt out. Have fun in California. What type of computer do plan on buying?

Just a little sick. I'm getting one of the www.ibuypower.com Valkyrie's. The best 17" laptop I can afford.

    Update:

No loads in CA so I have a 2200 mile deadhead to start tomorrow morning. My longest yet but the fuel economy should be good. I know it's good on the loaded part. It will be a decent paying load and get me back to the east coast.

I may have to stay out until Christmas. The last two weeks have set back my financial goals.

I got layover pay for the wait and should make some money on the deadhead as long as I get 10+ mpg. Going to be tight because I'm not riding over there like I ran down here, lol.

They have my parts at PriPit. I get up there after this next load I think.

Didn't have to buy chains in CA. A driver turning in his Kenworth gave me his at Prime Salt Lake City. I'm so glad I'm nice to people out here. The good karma is coming back.

    Later guys. GunMetal345 out!

Glad you got a set of chains and that was nice of him to give them to you. Money you did not spend = money you earned.

You make money because the surcharge is paid by the mile. This week it's $0.38, I think. At 10.5 mpg I'm getting $3.99 per gallon at 58 mph. I filled up in CA at $3.66 per gallon. I get $0.33 per gallon on those deadhead miles. Not a lot of money but every penny counts out here. I know what every decision cost, lol. Could be getting closer to 12 mpg but I don't have the time to waste.

Every load I get is already behind. I think they have more freight than they have drivers at the moment. I've been just scrambling for about 3 weeks. After Christmas it should go back to normal loads where I can be more efficient.
