Unfortunately he did go with CRE. I'm hoping after his 9 months he runs far, far away.

I'm not sure. I haven't been able to talk to him for almost a week. Miles are good though, he actually had a paycheck last week so rent finally got paid. It was nice haha

Wow! Read the whole thread, such drama!

I'm glad it's going better. Hopefully his next job will be local, or at least regional, so that he can pay the bills and spend more time with you.

    Good luck.

I can believe it. I've walked into many shops and every time I see a Volvo out there I have to have fun with the mechanics. How's the work on that Volvo coming after some colorful language I usually get a not so good. Having hear as much problem with the ProStar but I'm sure they have their kinks especially with a Max force. I have heard they're notorious for transfer pumps going out but that's something I can neither confirm nor deny.

That's surprising to say the least. I've seen a lot of volvos in the shops with EGR problems. A 1 day fix turns into a week long shutdown over parts issues or service issues. As for the international you can't expect much from them can you? I mean they were geared towards farming...not trucking. That was before navistar though. I've never even driven a truck that was new enough to be a navistar product. Everything I've had the pleasure of dealing with was still a true corn binder.

    That's great news.

We switched over to CEVA dedicated. Maybe I'll run into him.

I'm hoping to talk to him today. He's been in a dead area, yay cell phones lol. He asked me to go with him when I talked to him the other day, so I might just do that. He's suppose to be home Friday sometime to do his 70 reset.

I call ########. first of all if he is a p2 trainer he has only been with CRE for less then 6 months. Second of all truck investment is in ICOA (read before you sign) I run less then 5000 miles and still clear over $1000.00. Running as an IC is not for everyone, perhaps he should go company.

First of all they gave him the option to be a phase 1 trainer and he didn't want to be, second of all if you read everything he works for USX now.
