Hey CUZO420,
Have you applied to Western Express? I've never worked for them but I've heard that they usually work with drivers with criminal backgrounds and/or issues with their MVR.

Highflight, this is one of the best threads on Swift Transportation I read. I applied to Swift about three weeks ago and recruiters have been calling for days. I decided to go with another company first things didn't work out (hazmat chemical tanker) so now I just want to do dry van and get my experience. I live in Savannah so the Atlanta (Decatur) terminal would the terminal I would most likely do my orientation at. So I will definitely keep your post in mind when considering which company I will go with next.

It can help to find out what your references are saying. Have someone you know call them as an employer interested in hiring you. That info will help you and you can go from there. It doesn't do any good to tell a potential employer that you did a certain type of work, then when they call to verify it they're told something else.
My two cents on "having someone or a friend call" as an employer interested in hiring you will not always work. Lots of "responsible" companies will only respond to inquiries about former employees if they receive the request as a FAX with the prospective employers LOGO or LETTER HEAD on it. I've tried it. Worked a couple times back in the day but times have changed. -

So do not disclose any medical problems that you may have this will get you nothing but a waste of time and money.
They also sent home this Mexican guy who could drive perfectly but his English was not that good.
He was a nice guy and was learning to speak English better but it was not good enough. -
