Hi People I have 05 volvo Vn 670 with cummins ISX 500,
The problem that is cosing me is that my watter drops under minimum when the engine is cold,
but when the engine reaches normal oil temperature, the water raises all the way to the coolant reservoir cup (or Plug).
And If I add the Coolant between the min. and max. on cold engine, when the engine heats up it starts draining the water out on a drain hose.
can someone help me please??

First thing I would be checking is the rad cap, low pressure will cause this, week antifreeze less than -40F will also not help the situation.
Just a thought!Sr.Spartan and CondoCruiser Thank this. -
How old is your truck?
Did you replace water pump recently? -
I have one that's been doing this for over a year. I've just been blaming a bad sensor. After running down the road for a couple miles it goes away. Never had an issue overheating or anything.
Sr.Spartan Thanks this.
