Warning avoid stevens transport

For drivers considering the lease program at stevens I hope you reconsider...you will be better off to go lease frombb a dealership than to pay a lease from stevens. Basically they try to get you at first to use an older truck which has no warranty on it so repairs can be costly. Secondly the weekly truck payment is way to high per week I was paying $575.00 for a 2005 KW T2000. Third if your lucky enough to get a brand new truck you will be paying about $300 more for it. Never really understood their reasoning for high payments but suspected that they were trying to make me pay for more than one truck. On top of all that were a # of insurance related items that came out of my settlement and a high fuel cost. So be warned drivers avoid the lease program if you can they say lease driverse get prefered treatment but didn't see any evidence of it. Best of luck to ya and drive safe.

 

I wasn't saying the company as a whole was bad just their lease program. the company side of stevens is about the same as anyone else I was just trying to save drivers from getting ripped off with their lease program.
