Biggy D, who is your trainer? Are you doing regional training here in the north east?

 

My trainer is an OTR guy who lives in Maine. Last week we ran
A lot of NE this we we were in WI then down to AL. Heading back to NY then VT then Maine .
Get to sleep at home tomorrow as our load doesn't deliver till monday AM.

 

I'm at 3500 niles right now and am night and day from were I was 2 weeks ago..
Will be home for thanksgiving then out on Sat. With the plan to be back in WI. For final week testing and classes.
That start on Mon then finish on Thurs...

 

How is the home time with HOW?

 

Where's everyone at? Hanging out in Antioch, TN waiting for del in am. Its 57 deg, so I'm not complaining about that.

 

It's 6 degrees here in Belgrade, MT. Not including the wind chill of course lol

 

At the yard and it's minus 1... Finished with trainer today I am one tired dude and will post a done with training update tomorrow....

 

well my time with a trainer has come to a close. 4 weeks due to holiday 7100 miles driven. H.O.W does a real good job of trying to match trainers with personalities and region. I had a new trainer and was his 2nd student but it went real well. I continue to be thankful of the company I chose. As far as home time they seem pretty liberal with there policies. All the drivers I spoke to say they get home when they want it.

 

Good to hear, I know every time I wanted to go home I got there. Wasn't given any problems about how long I wanted to stay home either.

Who did you get as a dispatcher and what truck did you get?
