They will try to blame it on the bull hauler regardless. I'm sure they will check the drivers log book, weight if possible, any way they can find to shift blame. I am with you I hope the driver cleans their plow. Only problem with that is I bet they don't have a plow to clean. I'm glad that there were only treatable injuries coulda been a lot worse. Shows that the driver was on his toes doing his job.

Very much so. I feel bad for the bull hauler, hope everything was current you know what DOT is going to say if they find something "it's your fault because you shouldn't have been there" I don't think they'll be getting a weight from him, suppose they could look at his heath paper but who knows. Even if they don't have a plow to clean...I'm sure they've got a house, money saved away somewhere...hell if you can afford beer and a car to go out and cause this you've got something that can be taken away.

I hope that drunk realizes just the mess they caused. Totaled a $50,000 truck, a $60,000 trailer, not to mention the loss on the load plus wages. I'm glad both were okay...even the drunk yes I don't wish anybody getting killed. I think a DUI and reckless driving is fair...attempted motor vehicle homicide would be better though.

It begs the question if .08 is legal in a car, and .04 is legal for a CDL holder do we need to make the DUI laws even more strict? I have no tollerence for drunk driving. I'm glad everybody is okay, and I sure hope the driver gets back in the seat when he's able. I'm bitter over this and don't think it's right but the main thing is everybody is okay physically hope everything turns out alright for this bull hauler. Maybe they can round up a couple cows from the load and give him some good eating for a while:biggrin_25525:

Giggles...come on you know us...our logs are always current:yes2557:

lol well my inbox is fairly clean now deleted 80+ messages. I feel popular now that I've had to delete my inbox a whopping 4 times in the course of 2 years lol. I didn't see weather it was a woman or a man didn't pay much attention to it. Neither here nor there I'm glad they're both okay...although I believe it's time an example be made of somebody...If I knew the truck driver I'd give him the number of an attorney that's been advertising on T.V. his ad says

"Have you been involved in an accident with a big truck? Insurance companies don't like paying out we'll get you the money you deserve."

Okay mr. big shot lets see how you like hearing this story. I was the truck driver, I got hurt by a 4 wheeler I want my 4 million for pain and suffering and lost wages and my truck. I wonder what that attorney's reply would be probably "sorry we can't help you":biggrin_25510:
