My axel retracted. Didn't have an indication of it. I will install a light. Please permit me to make your community better. Please fine me court costs, and let me repair the problem. (Never works, but sounds nice)

wow thats a big fine
Only once did I go through a scale and was overweight on an axle but it was Nevada and they were more lenient, I goofed and when I slid my tandems I didnt make sure my pins were locked, well going down the road eventually the tandems went all the way to the back, went over the scale and they sent me around to reweigh, went through again and then told me to park and bring in paperwork. I got out and when I walked behind my trailer I saw right there where I messed up. Went in and explained to the guy I found the issue, he told me to go through the scale once again without moving anything but this time he wanted me to stop on each axle for each separate weight.....all said in done he let me slide my tandems, go over the scale once again and let me go about my way with no fine or anything, I was pretty lucky I had a nice Nhp that day. I also learnt my lesson to always check the pins an extra time before going on my way and havent had this same issue ever again.
We all make mistakes, some worse than others. I know when I dump my bags on the truck I have an alarm and a light in my truck telling me and if I dont flip that switch back it annoys me.
I have a legal service I pay $7 a week for "US Legal" I havent had to use them yet luckily but just once pays for itself several times.Last edited by a moderator: Nov 24, 2013

Hiring a lawyer is pointless. It's Illinois. Plead not guilty hopefully the fatazz officer takes a sick day. Illinois so dang corrupt, better off running for president. out of state resident.
Good POTUS joke but it's true sad to admit. -
I am just glad I dont drive back in that area anymore, I have been Western regional for a few months now and seems you can get away with a bit more out west.

First, I wouldn't work for Giggles anyway, she'd fire a driver for any infraction although she is perfect! I had a wire breack on mine in WY once and got a ticket. Made me pretty angry because I told them what happened and fixed it and they just said tough s%$@#
