Old style Eaton shift knob

Maybe some one else can chime in here. I had the old 2 piece knob on my 13 and wanted the newer style cause I couldn't find the chrome single button style. Tranny guy asked me if it has a cast iron slave cylinder or aluminum I wasn't sure at time and he produced me the single button I was looking for any way. Turns out I have the Aluminum slave which will accept new knob so I could have used the new style. But with the single button I use you have to go thru direct to get to OD I don't think you would be able to split your lower gears with this knob. The 2 piece like I had the high low just hose clamped to stick and looked trashy so wouldn't think that is what you want either.
