OK and TX suck right now. Earlier I had a four wheeler swerve into me on icy roads with no turn signal. Thank God there wsd no vehicle to my left or else there eould be another truck in the body shop. M also grateful I didnt losr traction. It could have bern an ugly jack knife pileup.

We both have full time jobs locally that started on the same day. We are both doing real good. I decided to check the boards tonight, just out of pure boredom, and also to see how many drivers hubby knew are still there.

OLATHE, Kan. - The Johnson County Firefighter’s Hazmat team worked well into the night Sunday to clear a large diesel fuel spill in Olathe, Kan.
The incident happened at a trucking company off 15910 U.S 169 Highway.
Authorities say the tanker somehow came loose from the cab, causing the leak.
Authorities closed 159th Street west of U.S 169 to the Tyson Food entrance.
    No injuries were reported.

It's terrible, isn't it? I don't even know what to say ....other than to be grateful that no one was injured.....and that it happened where it did and not on the highway somewhere.

I am going to leave it on the thread for an hour or so and then take it off .....the picture is copyrighted. You all can link to the article before I take it down if you want.

Ive already blasted it on FB, lol. My load was ready when I got to Friona. Scaled in Amarillo cause Fast Stop was closed and Im glad I am still in the 660 because I would be over gross in my 680. As is, its going to be one of those crummy loads where you can only carry so much fuel. Im almost 1500lbs over on the drives and had to move the tandems all the way up. Glad Im not taking it to final.
