No, I have not but do you recommend them? I have heard not too good stories on this forum about some freightliner shops and some good stories as well, so I am looking to find a repair shop that someone can recommend.

    robbiehorn Thanks this.

When it comes to engine work I have found only two options. An engine shop or a shop/individual that specializes in your engine. I have a 12.7 and have found a local guy who does nothing but detroits day in and day out. He's fast, reasonable and knows what he's doing. Ask around your local area you'll find someone.

IMO if you do not know stick with the Freightliner dealership. The work is guaranteed at any freightliner dealer.

tirednaz, I guess I did not frame my question correctly. I was seeking recommendation for any good repair shop that works on Freightliner trucks (not necessarily a Freightliner dealership but could also be one). I hear you regarding sticking to FL dealership as their work is guaranteed but you will agree with me that nothing beats recommendation from someone that has had some experience with a particular repair shop(s).

I agree with you @mgrantes. How can one make this happen on this forum? Who has the authorization to create a new section?
