I would like to thank both UP and silent for all the sound advice they have given to those inquiring about this company and industry. I hope those reading heed their advice. I drove for about 9 months with schnieder about 6 years ago. I believe that the pool of l/o and students screwed by the companies is very small indeed. I feel that the success people experience is based on their own commitment and initiative they put forth. It does not get on the company or trainer. Ask questions and study. Pass or fail it is your own doing dint blame any one but you. I found both of your posts especial up on leading very helpful. I gave decided to go with prime. And once i get my feet at and learn what may have changed i pan to lease. Anyways my questions now. My first is concerning a cdl permit. I looked good. Cdl it is my understanding I'll have to go through all the training again including the the i believe it is called is n that true. Also add my name suggests i love in Texas i have been studying the hand book for Texas focusing on air brakes, general knowledge, and combination. I figure it is b pretty. Much the same state to state. But i have to wait to get my presuming till I'm in Missouri correct. Is there a way to have it done before the first day once i get there or is out because I'm from out of state I'll have to do it there. Other than studying and research what else can i do to prepare. I'm in the books dail y have that each chapter number of times. As a lead operator can you bring a child under age

I have no idea what he's asking. Anybody know what the OP is trying to say?

I'll take a shot at it. I believe you're asking about getting your permit in Texas and working for Prime from Missouri. Your license has to be from the state where you live. I guess you could move to Mo and get your permit, but it doesn't make sense.
There are tons of CDL practice tests on the web to prepare yourself for the actual test.
As for riders, I would think they'd want you to have experience before you take a rider, but as I don't work for Prime, I cannot answer for sure.
Does this help answer your questions? Good luck with your CDL and training.
One more thing. Since you've only driven a few months total, and several years ago, you are basically a new driver. You will have to go through training as a new driver pretty much wherever you decide to work. -

Rw i appreciate your attempt at answering my unclear questions. Lol. What i was trying to ask is since I'll be training in Missouri and licensing there do i need to wait to get my permit there. I know once I'm done i have to transfer the cdl to. My home state. Thanks for the info on practice tests. I'll check that out. I havse experience not much but several years ago. I wouldn't take my child till i had time behind the wheel again. I was wondering on prime policy is different for a rider for their lease program. Thanks Again for the information and trying to answer my not so clear questions. I do feel that training is necessary since it had been so long and my experience so n little. I don't consider my self a driver with experience at least not to count. My experience i consider my self having is just i know what it all required to be successful today it is up to me to learn what i need to thanks again kindly
