I prefer a % to hourly....I can raise my own hourly by being more efficient. Likewise if I get done sooner I can cut out earlier some days. ...Just a preference though...to each their own.

Just had my interview with a company it went really well my only question is whether or not is normal for the company to want a road test before they offer a position. The company I interviewed with is in Oklahoma as well as Texas one of my friends is going through the process in Texas and in going through in Oklahoma he doesn't need to road test where as I do was wondering is this normal for Oklahoma? Thx for you input guys and gals

You are better off road testing first in my opinion. Especially if you are a new driver and still have some skills building to do.

With the road test they will know what skill level they are hiring. It would be a waste of time and energy for everyone for you to get hired, go through whatever orientation process they require, and then get kicked to the curb because they eventually find you lack a skill they consider a deal breaker.
