most megas are that way. and some only allow you one or the other holiday.

 

Then it shouldn't be a problem to secure truck and get a car or flight home then. You going to sit from now till Friday or next Monday when freight get's to moving again?

 

I wasn't thinking of a flight... I was going to say if you were lease that if you wanted to eat the fuel cost you could DH, but not as company... At least without possible consequences. Idea... Try calling other terminals, letting the DM that answers know you are looking for a load going toward <_____>. Talk to more than just your DM. Also do it via phone. The QC goes to only YOUR DM... Who knows, he/she might not have a load, but others might deal with other planners and have one going the way you want/need to go. This is where you need to get proactive NICELY... It might not work, but you never know it just might... It will also show you have initiative

 

What harm could it do? All they can say is no... And then you are right where you are now.
