Personally speaking, I would make them pay through the nose..... but then.... my jelly doughnut might taste different....

 

They will just raise the minimum gallons for a free shower from 50 to 75 and make their money back in no time.

 

Those 2 for $2 hot dogs are now going to be 2 for $3.50......

You know, the only ones coming out on this are the big companies, all the little guys had to pay full price for fuel anyway, I say it's karma for all the mega fleets who get these big discounts on fuel then cry how trucking needs to be a level playing field. How about the mega fleets pay full price for fuel and shut up about it.

 

Yep we know how pilot expanded so rapidly the last 10 years now. I stopped doing any business with them years ago. Hope the &^%$in crooks go bankrupt. Get much better deal on fuel at love's, ta-petro. And independent fuel stops prefer the small mom and pop stops anyway. Can't tell me that the ceo mr honest jimmy didn't know this was going on! Yeah right he's as guilty as the other employees who got caught.

 

Those mom and pops will rob you blind too, and much more than a few pennies per gallon. The Cisco truckstops on the FL GA line were only giving you 4/5 of a gallon for every gallon you bought with tampered pumps. That's why they are out of business.

 

yep always a chance. i run a dedicated run and have fueled at same spots for years. but like the perks free coffee, showers and friendly staff.

 

Did the math, equals aprox $15,450 per company... Where the heck is the punitive damages? My Co. lost nearly that much waiting in line at fuel island for you to get your ####, shave, shower, and food. J/k

I quit using Pilot for their business model of fuel 8 trucks and parking for 4x= 32 or some variable. I love their driver reward program, but not enough to sit and wait to grace their stores with my dollars. I'll take whatever TA/Petro offers and like it, because I'm on my way without waiting in midwest.
