OOIDA's Insurance is issued thru a pool... But the pool doesn't have a "RATING'... However, the Underwriter (LLoyd's) is a 'A' rated company... In other words... it's not OOIDA but those carriers, brokers request for you to be insured by an 'A' rated insurance company and not just underwritten by an 'A' rated company... Now that is the issue with Siboney Contracting... you know they (OOIDA) did tick Landstar off with the suit, so that may be another reason all together why Landstar won't accept them... I was leased to Landstar a few years back and actually had OOIDA as my provider... even OOIDA was shacking their head as to why they allowed me to keep OOIDA and not put up a fuss..

Would that insurance be cheaper if I stayed within a 500 mile radius? I was thinking about running intra-state Florida but Im thinking it might be a better idea to get an apportioned plate run Florida and Georgia. Im trying to figure out fixed costs as well to see if this is a feasable plan
