Now those are some great prices! Almost makes me want to buy the 520 for a back up.
I see the LM models have lifetime maps as well.

I'm gonna go with the 720. Seems like each unit has its flaws but it going with the Atlas helps in the decision.

Both of these units and the smaller versions are on sale at P /FJ right now.
I can't decide. -
These sorts of purchases are difficult. A sizable purchase, and though they do the same fundamental thing, they are 2 different animals and you won't know what YOU like until you've tried each for a week. A lot has to do with what you may be used to and what are your expectations and wants.
A lot of guys who rave about one, have never tried the other so you have to take their "advice" with a grain of salt. Me? I've ran (have) both and prefer the big Garmin over the big Rand McNallyTroyD Thanks this. -

I know, and like I said, if you only have one, you'll never really know if you made the right decision. Maybe someone needs to set up a "GPS rental" business ... try before you buy. Rent 2 units for 2 weeks for $75, along with a return box to ship the units back with a credit card to insure return. Rental cost can be applied to purchase of new factory boxed unit if driver decides to buy one ????
TroyD Thanks this. -
