2 DUI's long time ago, wannabe a trucker?

figure 90 days hair growth after its out of your system (90 days after being able to pass a urine test). Then 1/2 inch of hair growth per month. If you're clean for 4 months and your hair is no longer than 1.5", you would probably be on the theoretical borderline. As I understand, it will show up in hair that is longer than 1.5", but they only test the newest 1.5". Best is to wait til you can pee clean, then wait 4 months, then cut your hair to less than 1.5" (but leave enough for them to test so they don't pluck your pits)

 

Does TMC only do a urine test

now I have moved on to a company paying me $.42/mile
14000 niles last month and 6 days off
and I havnt had a drink in 13 years

To the OG poster..don't worry about the DUIs from years gone by..All truck companies know that the only people who want to drive trucks are,high school dropouts with long criminal records,addicted to all kinds of drugs,who flock to this miserable industry because nobody grows up saying "I want to be a truck driver" ..Hell my parole officer hooked me up with this driving gig stuff.I should of just served all my time...

 

What is trans am drugntesting collection procedures I was a truck driver in the military and all that stuff and I never done drugs until I came back from Iraq all I did was smoke never popped pills or didi and hard drugs in my life I smoked on and off for a bout 6 months and that the only time I ever did and I decided 56 days ago to quit and never touch it again I am a good person and not a criminal

 

Most truck companies are ran by crooks anyway..they will steal,lie,& cheat from the drivers on a daily basis..so two of the same meet.& they become employer and employee

I dont know about Trans am..could be both..I think the UA is the only test required by the DOT..the hair test is a company policy...So when they ask you for a hair test simply refuse and tell them YOUR policy is to only provide urine..

 

SADLY and UNFORTUNATELY, there are probably a small minority of truck drivers scattered all around the U.S.A. who have "clean" records on paper, but have never been caught for various crimes and felonies ranging from burglary, armed robbery, assault and battery, D.U.I., D.W.I., embezzlement, drugs and narcotics, and much more serious crimes all the way up to mayhem, rape, and murder.

I would be much less fearful of this guy coming clean from many years ago, vs. the various people mentioned in the above paragraph. This "dirty" person is much cleaner than the "clean" people mentioned in the above paragraph who are as dirty as dirty can be.
