Do basically I a tuner, just got to decide which one. Pittsburg power told me I need to spend 14k on a single turbo conversion. I thought that was a little rediculous. Might be because they've had to pull they're power boxes off the market do to EPA. Will a set of they're mufflers help? Or has anyone experienced the air cell that goes off the intake?

I would stay away from the Pittsburg power box as it is basically a duration timing box, better with Bullydog imho, might not produce as much peak power as the PP box but your chances of melting down the engine are far greater with a PP Box.... PDI and diesel spec tunes are also great if you don't have a warranty they will set you up nice with a tuned ecm

I never get over 900 degrees with my BD powered Acert, stock it would go to 1100 at times pushing it hard, now even when I try I can't get it past 900.

This is strictly my opinion, but I would not give PP another thought, all they ever want to do it seems is sell these single turbo conversion kits. There are far to many on this site and others that have had no positive results from doing so. In my opinion there are only two places that I would allow to "tune" my ECM, Bullydog (which I have) and PDI.

I think that they are a PDI dealer located in Canada, if not someone will correct me on that.

    They are a PDI dealer.
They also do their own stuff though. So you aren't limited with a PDI tune with them they do all sorts of stuff ...
I run a Bully dog on my ACERT and like it, but would have run a Haney tune just as easily if he were in my area.
If I were running a cummins I'd stop into diesel spec for sure.

I have a PDI tune and the Cat dealer knows it. I have a four year warranty with Cat. The only way they can tell if it's been tuned is if they put it on a dyno or send the ECM to Cat. Unless there is a very obvious hp related failure you "should" be ok with any warranty issues. I've had a warranty issue since the overhaul and it was not a problem.

Some dealers won't care that the truck has been tuned and will repair the problem or issue just to get the warranty money and others aren't as helpful and strike out your warranty. It all comes down to how well you know the shop employees and if they like you or not.

I agree 100%. If you have a tuned ecm you better make sure your dealer is down with it
