I'm looking for minimum on 2k a week but will take more if they have them. I know this time of year gets slow so no matter what I get I'll be happy. As for what I ran I started the week before thanksgiving so I have No way of knowing what to expect until next week.
-
Haha ok, the last thing I wanted todo was leave town on thanksgiving. I know the one local job don't sound all that great so I might just call them back and say on second though, tyvek suits don't sound like a great deal of fun.

I got a good feeling about Melton while in orientation. Almost like they WANT to keep you. Never had that feeling with a company before. And the starting pay was the highest offered by flatbed company to me.
-
I only have about 9mo of local flatbed and 11mo total drive time, between "school" and werner.
How many people are in the orientation?Last edited: Nov 30, 2013

There was 15 to start and I think 12 or 13 when it was over.

Well thats good there not massive.
-
Do you know why the few got sent home ?
Can you tell us what all is involved in orientation ? -
Little update on my end they said I need 2 more months before they will hire me. They said my local time 9mo serving PA, MD, DE and NJ and my 1 month with werner weren't enough so I'm going to head back out with werner get some more seat time. Kinda of disappointing I really wanted to work for melton.
