The recruiter told me 30 cents a mile and 1/2 cent raise every 6 months. I will be staying after the first of the year which is great for me. I still don't have a date yet though.

Total for 9 weeks = 6,097.81 . /9 weeks = $677.53 per week . Pete can add some completion bonus to this avg but will also take out some expenses (scale tics for example).

Cranky Pete is awesome for reporting this kind of detail so please understand, I say this not as some kind of brag or put down of the Cranky one, but only so people can understand my stand on company vrs lease: As I company driver, there is no 9 week period where I averaged LESS than $677.53 per week and I never had to take on the risk of loss that a lease driver does.

^ Not sure if I fully understand the wording of your above post but, you need to have an up to date medical card. After that TransAm does all of their checks before they invite you to orientation. You have to pass a pee test at orientation. If you meet that criteria, you are good to go.

ok im sorry let me try again.
I have recently been given a medical card for i have just started school and needed it. i was only given a one year card for my blood pressure is high. i basicly have 1 year now to get it down enough to get my 2 year card. if i try to get hired on at Transam when i show up for orientation will they check me again and if im over 140/90 will they send my butt home or take my current 1 year card that is still active and let me work?
p.s. dont much care about the pee test i dont do drugs

In the lower right side of the box you should see Edit Post with a little pencil icon. I've had to use it twice to correct THIS post!
