    hey man so chicago has a intermodal. i was thinking of o/o but they dont the have rail here for o/o. but the 875$ for a company driver aint horrible. you think thats the best for company or can it be more?

    Be patient and keep looking, I wasn't going to settle for just any local gig, I had certain financial parameters the local job had to meet.

    We only work a 5 day work week. Chicago is begging for drivers and offering something like a $5000 sign on bonus for intermodal positions around Chicago.

    Just a lot of equipment moving around. Compared to the rail yard here in Charlotte, Chicago is so much more hectic, but its nothing to scare you off.

    To be honest, I'm not sure. I know there is a big rail yard in Memphis. The best thing to do is go on there website and type in Tn.. All the jobs available will come up.
