LOL, Do like I used to do, I would stop and crawl under the trailer like I found something wrong, they would be fuming by the time I finally got to around to moving about 5 minutes later.
Thanks
BobNavigatorWife Thanks this. -
O1 in Louisville, got 580 miles to go to get to my 90 for a 1230 appointment...a 1900 pickup and a 1230 appointment dosent work out so well on the hours, but I'll get it there and try to get them to take me early
-
So I take it no more prostar...and I remember those days of scaring the #### out of a trainer

In Houston Tx made it though DFW area with no issues, but that was 3 am but the ruts in the road and the potential for slick roadways was still there. Also, seeing icicles hanging off the underpasses was interesting to see as well. Looks like I could be heading to roanoke VA next.

Hit traffic in western OH. One lane while the recovery crew was trying to upright a tractor trailer. Lost 40 min.
dropped at Kraft in Groveport. Thought I was done after parking in Hebron and sitting a few hours. Oh no, not yet. With 3.25 left on my 14 I got a load from AB. It's hit or miss there with the lines at their scales... In and out.
kinda po'd that sales sat on this one for a few hours. Open appt since early this morning. Could of not been in a rush if they'd just got it to me before or as I left Kraft.
had to adjust my fifth to make things work. Not gonna worry about being 50 lbs over gross. I'll burn that off in fuel pretty quickly.
got parked in London behind the mcdonalds with 5 min to spare on my 14. -
Avoca IA... at the Flippin' PEEhook. Mostly because this is where my 14 ran out... on the exit ramp. Dang cold... truck said it was 0* and very windy. Much warmer in Misery. Delivered combos to Chillicothe MO this morning, reloaded at Dr. Pepper in Ottumwa IA this afternoon. Headed to Englewood CO for Wednesday very early.
Ah yes... the days of gettin' Frankie to reach for the Holy #### handle. Usually started with, "Hey Frankie! Wake up!!! Got a problem here!!!" Followed by a priceless expression...

Taking my 30 and fueling in hurricane, wv no more parking (the trucks are packed in so tight you're clearing a few guys with less then an inch of room between trailers) but the fuel aisles are empty right now (hate to be "that guy" but I'm not the only one doing it, 14 caught my 11 before I left the shipper so dispatch is working on finding a repower, and I'm just gonna roll until my clock says 0:00 or they say they found one
got an hour from hurricane and had to turn around and go back to get repowered, turned around at 3 am, got there at 4 spent 35 minutes trying to get my release lever to let up going forward and back while another driver yanks on it, get hooked and I'm behind schedule again because of snow and iceLast edited: Dec 10, 2013
