i want to be a independent log truck driver i have my own truck and trailer what the proper paper work i need to do this im only going to be in the state

intra/state is all you need, MS has in past let LA trucks cross over state lines without IRP tag, might have changed.

Here in NY I run agriculture plates. I can run any state with wood products or farm products. Wood is one of the exempt commodities. I hope you know how to slide a truck in the mud.

Not if any of the logs are export, even after unloading if they leave the state he has to be interstate.

you can run farm tags if you want to be cheap, but is risky especially when dot pull us over alot more
