Not illegal, just stupid. dropping a load of hvac ducting in a 2013 prostart hauling dry van. Live construction site, muddy as hell, begging for me to get stuck and rip my bumper off in the mud. Said I wouldnt do it, i'd back up as close as possible to the "dock" and we'd hand unload it from there. Much yelling and cursing insued from both parties.

No reason to leave...disagreements happen everyday at every company...stick it out.

US Xpress has a terminal in Tunnel Hill, GA. They have a Target dedicated account in the south that might get you home on the weekends.

Orientation is 2.5 days. Pay is good.

Sometimes you have to give a little to let them prove to themselves that you are the one standing there sizing up the situation....once they see that you are capable of treating the load and the customer correctly they'll back off. Give 'em enough rope , and they'll hang themselves every time Good luck in the job search...wish I could help in that area.

    Check Careerbuilder website.

Check these, some with terminals in Savannah & all hire drivers with no experience & CDL graduates:

    CTL Transportation
    CT Transportation
    WSE Transportation
    Watkins & Shepard (Dalton terminal)
    Melton Truck Lines
Paschall Truck Lines(best chance since you were fired & ding on DAC)
    Superior-Carriers
    Ozark Motor Lines

Knight has a terminal in Atlanta. They hire with only three months experience. I had a crappy employment record with issues when I went there. They hired me and I stayed 18 months.
