Does anyone have any information about hauling for these production companies that put on concerts for musicians, performers, etc. I'm wanting to look into it a little harder than what I've heard from drivers on the road. If anyone knows of any companies that contract O/O's and how to get in touch with them please let me know.
I'm only about 3 hours from Nashville, which in the trucking world is not that far.
Hauling for the entertainment industry.

upstage productions was th one I almost went to work for back when I was like 23. You have to be willing to LIVE on the road ith these companes because you are with the tour for the whole thing usually.

I've looked into it a little a few years ago.Couldn't get much info on pay,but what little I did was pretty decent.During tour season, you would be living in the truck for the length of the tour, you won't be getting into too much of the concert because you would be sleeping, because as soon as the shows over,it would be loading, hauling a#$ to the next venue, then unloading again. You would have to be willing to all 48 states(and maybe AK),as well as all of Canada. After tour season, you would be out of work until the next season.Unless you leased on somewhere else for the downtime.

You NEVER unload your own truck. From what I know it's all union work so you drop the trl and they unload it.

My hubby looked into it before we got married he was going to do it I am so glad that he didn't do it he would never be home

and this would be bad... why?

I hate it when he is gone all the time 2-3 weeks is bad enough
