The Petition [SIZE=-1]The UNITED STATES Truckers DEMAND Lower Fuel Costs Petition to U.S. Government was created by and written by Matthew C. Turner
It can NOT be changed! Even by ME cant be changed!
We would really be more effective if we did a Petition HERE, we all appoved it, Printed it out and get it signed by as many drivers as we can... even give some AWAY so the Drivers can take them with them.... On down the Line..
Make sure they understand the VALUE of what the driver has in his hand... but DO send one with him! That ONE is HIS!
And also forgot to tell you all I've heard 2 DATES today!
March 14th, and JULY 1st...
The People where to FAR away for me to actually get a grip on their lips.. 10-4?

park it over close to wifi access and let the email begin.
i see it escalating to boiling point. i would not be suprised come morning we hear about something sarting somewhere.
where i am at. if it starts i am all over it. i will shut her down and go into my real job of photographer and journalist mode.
things are coming together, OBAMA is winning and now truckers are looking like they will stand and unite. glorious days are upon us. this could be why i was born to live in these times. -
I am sure that with oil prices topping $110 a barrel, and diesel prices hitting well over $4.00 a gallon in some area's of the country, folks are wondering when it will stop.
For us truck drivers it will have to stop soon. Those of us who own these big rig's can no longer afford to drive them, therefor our freight, or your consumer goods as they are known, will be left undeliverable far away from where you need them to be.
We as business's can no longer afford to pay for fuel, equipment, taxes, insurance and a living wage to ourselves. Now dont think this affects the owner operators alone...all of trucking is feeling this pinch. Company drivers are going without their bonus's and yearly 1 cent per mile pay increase. Fleets are retaining their older equipment to save on the bottom line.
Company's are going bankrupt and people are losing their lively hood.
How long can we last this way? How long can any business sustain itself without covering operating expenses let alone profit? The short answer is it can't. Right now out on those long, lonely stretch's of highway drivers are screaming for a shutdown. Screaming for freight rates to be raised, fuel surcharges to be paid to the truck, fair compensation for hours worked, paid for waiting to load or unload at some dark warehouse where no one cares about the federal hours of service we have to comply with at all times. Would you want to work 10 hours a week for free? How about 100 hours for less than minimum wage? Neither do we.
Folks this is a powder keg waiting to go BOOM!
thank you for your time

Oh Jesus...
Thats GOOD! -
so here it is when we make the strike immanent we need to do it in big cities just as work traffic hits - PRIME TIME BABY!!!! - starting on the east and working to the west
now, as we stage in the cities we need to call 411 for the cities we are in or if you know what city you will be in look it up on the web and get the local breaking news channels
they love this stuff, why because they can sell it to bigger media it will spread and be the talk of the nation in the morning
when people go to work in the morning and see the trucks and maybe 4wheelers still sitting this will spark interest in joining possibly
we must plan for this to happen soon, so get your coolers, drinks, water, pbj and bread and be kind to the 4wheelers and tell them to stand up for what is right
it might take a few days for people to jump on the band wagon but when they do it will be in masses
also we must do this right with alot of initial support of all trucks, it must hit big in the media nationally in hours or this will fail
we must broadcast and stress for this to be a serious group thing that happens rapid and effectively amongst drivers regardless of what they might think the outcome is
for example look at riots when they happen, it goes on for some time because the police can not enforce the masses they move slowly and media is across the nation within hours if not an hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
You have a flair for the writing my man.
-
ROKK... I am feeling you on that buddy
ITS TIME TO MAKE HISTORY MY FELLOW DRIVERS AND FAMILY MEMBERS,
WE WILL UNITE TOGETHER AND STAND UP LIKE OUR FOREFATHERS WHO DID YEARS AGO FOR US TO HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR
ITS TIME TO TAKE BACK THIS COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
anybody know obama, he could make himself a hero in every truckers eyes and win some votes if he stood up to this!!!!
just a thought -
Just flood his campaign with emails. And I mean FLOOD it so they know it's something worth taking up. Hell flood all the campaigns but I see him as being the only one who could possibly take it up hoping to get an edge. Sure would pick up a whole lot of truckers votes on just that one issue
-
WELL WE NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET, IT SURE WOULD BE WORTH A TRY! -
