I really wonder if all this is going to be a great new beginning to the industry and help bring us all back together like it used to be. or is this just a screeching halt to a bitter end for us all.

Best not to think about it and just do what needs to be done.

well I was pizzed about a reefer ,hazmat load offer I had just gotten oh with a 300 mile D/H into jersey wanted me to run it for a buck fifty, told the agent he was out of his mind and he informed me that I would never hear from him again, i made him promise that he would honor that statment and that I was going home and park it.
Now that I have cooled down somewhat and started thinking i have decided that I am going to still go home but I am going home and pack some supplies into my truck and come Saturday morning I am going to sit at the 37 70 truckstop close to Columbus Ohio and wait and see if any of you have the gonads to show up there.
Now if there is a group of you out there that ain't all talk and we can get enough together to do any good I think its time we All took a ride over to the capital to talk to our elected officials.
We might not get there until Tuesday or Wednesday though because if you are like me then you won't be able to go more than say 15 mph to save fuel, oh and I think we should all take the pa turnpike over that a way and since all my folding money will have been spent on fuel I don't want you all to be mad at me when it takes a long time for me to count out the pennies to pay the tolls, of course I will show you the same courtesy if you happen to be ahead of me counting your own pennies
I can't promise you that there will be a lot of avalible parking to take your required 10 hour break along the way you might have to park along the shoulder or if no space is left you might just have to park it in the granny lane.
I don't know how many trucks will meet us there once we get there but the loop should make a fine parking lot.
So who is tired of the talk and is ready to DO something how many are going to show up at the truckstop Saturday and how many will be in Washington come say Wednesday ??
Well got to get going mammas expecting me home in a couple of hours I look foreward to your answers -
anytime a group starts talking such as this, great things can happen, have faith, afterall this is the trucking industry, the second largest industry in the nation. only difference is it only takes one pissed off trucker to get something started. and one more with balls enough to lead the pack. i leave the house tomorrow. and if someone says "lets shut em down at MM such and such". myself i am all over it. a grand adventure awaits. -
know where you are at when/ if you shut them down
trust me you dont want to end up in a dry county!!!!! -
I believe you, it crossed my mind at that moment and I decided to share that thought. I guess i shouldn't think those things like medicineman said -
i don't know if it was this thread but like i said we need to target big cities with lots of news stations and people to see the reality of it in person not just on t.v.

Bronc, I'm starting to think we need to have an intervention my friend. You can't get off that dry county thing can ya?? lol
