What's the best 3 car hauler?

you need a 3500 or bigger, not a 2500.

 

Plenty of loads going from savannah to atlanta GA to charleston sc. I did a few one week living at a motel. Just the scale house on I16 will eat you alive with a 2500 lol. They give level 1s like its kindergarten candy.

 

What kind of rig are you runnin' ?

 

Who would even run a 2500 in this business??!!?!?! I gotta buddy that thinks his Dodge 2500 can pull anything with 6k of pinweight etc. I make sure me and him are never on the same freeway because he won't listen. Too bad the scales in Ca don't pull in pickups

 

I hear in most states and provinces that DON'T, they're going to ...... apparently DOT has been watching shows like 'Shipping Wars' ....... finally.

 

We could only hope, I had a single car enclosed dually pass me,(No DOT #s, no company name on truck and it looked like it hadn't been washed since Bush was in office.) he asked me a few questions on the CB and then said, "I'll never go back to a big truck, I can run this and don't need DOT, I'm not commercial." I said "I think you're wrong on that."

He said he wasn't commercial but had a big UShip decal on the back of his trailer. I wish the DOT would go after every truck with that decal on it and no DOT#s.

 

Since someone revived this thread I have to answer the question......The best 3 car hauler is.....one sitting in the field rotting away or headed to the scrap yard. Sorry it was just too tempting not to say it. Just messing around.

 

What ?? You don't believe in recycling ?? What's wrong with welding on some posts, tacking up some screen, and making fair-weather cow haulers out of them .... ?

 

I Ran a FL70 with a 8.3 6CT Cummins. 55Inch intergrated sleeper. Airbrakes, fifthwheel, ball for gooseneck and a Reese hitch with tow package. I sold it now i run a 1999 freightliner FLD with a 3406E cat. I miss the fuel milage but i love the power and comfort out of a condo

 

The question was about trailers, right? We run 3 car Sun Country trailers behind Duallies. Best trailers out there but pricey. Never need welding.
