Yes you do, I weeded through trainee's, booted ones who could not drive, had bad attitudes, was inattentive, late for scheduled training sessions ect. My FM backed me 100% each time.

where do you get your info? If I was you, I'd stop listening to them. That's twice today you've been wrong. I'll be at CHDSLC here in an hour or so to ask about your terminal rumor. Let's see if you go 0-3

company trainers CAN refuse a trainee, absolutely have a say on who they train.

company drivers have to work THREE weeks minimum between hometime.

I know but I knew a few guys that said that they could not refuse TNT trainee because he is a company driver. I said maybe it all depends on his FM

I know that some FM will not let you turn down TNT trainees. They allow you to turn down PSD so did you get your answer at CHDSLC.

No I know for a fact they can still force a PSD on a trainer, it all depends on the situation.

I just went through PSD with a company Flabedder who passed me off to a lease flatbedder for TNT.

The guy I'm with now said that he makes more money with TNT being lease then he can with PSD because he can run as a team. Just ask your PSD instructor if he knows of a lease driver he can hook ya up with for TNT...........it's nice to experience both sides.

Read the lease thread before you get any bright ideas about makin' a million bucks driving a lease truck...

Trust me I was self employed for over 20 years and if I didn't make a million then I have no misconceptions about doing it in the trucking industry.

What I meant was the lease operator doesn't do PSD because it's not lucrative for him to do so just TNT.
