I am currently waiting 5 weeks for a spot in the glass division. From everything I've read it is worth the wait. I would like to know how long it takes to unload glass. I know it depends on a lot of factors but I would think it takes longer for safety reasons and not damaging the load. Just wondering how much time loading and unloading takes out of your 14 hours.

My question is why would you start a brand new thread for this?? Read MY thread, among others, and you'll find the answers your looking for.
NEW GUYS.... I cannot stress enough, you NEED TO LEARN PATIENCE!!! You will have ALOT of detention in glass. That's NOT Mavericks fault, thats the customers fault. Case in point, my load was supposed to be ready 12 hours ago. They still haven't even pulled the trailer into the building yet.

unloading can take any where from a hour to about 4 depending on where you go and what you have. loading takes about 3 hours give or take if every thing goes smooth. but it can take all day to get a door first. All of this is the same across the board for trucking.

Don't listen to this guy. You are required to "log it as you do it", which after you get used to live-loading will take you about 45 minutes to an hour.
