    We will never know, I'm just saying that if you watch him hit the rail his momentum changes, plus with the slope he was hopped, but with no rail he had a chance to go straight. and have a rough ride.....

    Looks like they just layed down a few inches of fresh asphalt so there was a steep dropoff if you drifted over the edge.

    The worst I ever saw was at least a foot drop on the median side when they paved I70 in MO a few years ago. I merged onto the interstate and another driver passed in the left lane but drifted over too far and dropped the trailer wheels off the edge. I thought he was gonna lose it but he pulled out of it.
