as long as it takes you to go test out
-
Ok on average
-
only you control how long you will go and take test and do any appointment if need it .
-
If you know how to back a 53 ft trailer, shift, make your turns fine then all can be done in an hr.Otherwise that's on what your DMV policy is when the next time you're allowed to take the test.
-
slightly less then starting with no cdl, but not much. A classB doesn't require much skill. Its just a big car really. Understanding how to back trailers is totally different. Unless your class b has a 9 or 10 speed trans you will need to relearn that to. If your B had a non synchronized trans you al teast know how to float or double clutch.
-
I had a class B and recently got my A.....its like starting all over again. And guess what, these companies dont take class B experience as CDL experience. Suggest you do the same and start from scratch.
Only leg up you have is you may have some of the written tests already taken care of for your permit. -
Companies don't because class b you don't have exp with 53 ft trls.
-
Yeah in my state, you have to know how to double clutch or they will put a restriction for automatic only...
-
Yeah I know it sucks, just got to play there little game for about 45 minutes or so....
