yeah i mean i can see that but if hes dumb enough to be out there six months without time off he shuddent be out there u have to have a good relationship with the dm to avoid those things and always being clear about hometime you wont always get it wen u want but you will get it they will work with you i do believe some peeps get it rough but its a dog eat dog world eather you a wolf or a sheep and the sheeps cant do the wolfs jobs get me?

As to your previous post, CRE is not like other companies. Well, they aren't like other real trucking companies. Twenty minutes reading this forum should be evidence enough of that.

 

After driving just 62 MPH across the country, if you go postal on me, I might just return fire.

 

I just went through the CDL school, all the instructors there told me that only ten percent of new drivers last a year there.

 

Let me get on my soapbox. I was sexually and racially discriminated against by my first backing instructor I am 50 years old I was raised in Baltimore where people come from all walks of life I am not a prejudiced person by any means and never in my life felt that way nor have I ever had anybody act racial to me until then and all the guy got was a slap on the wrist. Then when I went out on the road with a backing instructor he made sexual remarks to me both of the guys that was in the driving class told me that if I wanted to persue a lawsuit and file charges they would back me up. I was having trouble downshifting so my driving instructor thought that since there was another instructor that didnt have any students might be able to help me so he paired me up with him well he was the worse one of all he made remarks that I still havent made up my mind if I am going to file charges he made sure to let me know that if I needed a stress reliever that he was available.

The hotel that CRE put me in had fleas and bed bugs they knew about it and really didnt care because when I showed them the flea bites they just looked at me like they wasnt interested and said ok we know. Then the bathrooms have mold and I mean ALOT OF MOLD I have pictures to back up my story of hometown hotel hell. The real kicker is just how gross the housekeeping staff is. If you dont strip the bed when you leave they just make up the bed and the next person gets to sleep in well what ever treat you left in the sheets. I had to buy stuff to clean the bathroom.


What really sealed the deal for me was on the day before Thanksgiving Day I failed my driving test and to make a long story short just in case I wasnt feeling bad enough the school director came to me and told me that I was to be at school all day Thanksgiving Day and if I failed to show up then CRE had no use for me. Its not that I minded being there because it was better than being in a fifthy hotel missing my family but he did not need to speak to me like he did and really I dont feel that he had the right to because he is not my daddy. Well when I passed on Friday and got my CDL I had to leave before they found me a trainer due to a family situation. I have called and called and called and emailed them about coming back and no one has bothered to contact me so I gave up and found another job. I wanted to let them know that based on the way they treated me I never want to see them again. I dont know anybody that has come in contact with CRE that had one good thing to say about them and I am not going to surround my self with such negativity. That is all and I am getting off of my soapbox

 

I just finished their school too our group started with 120 people and only 20 of us finished with our CDLs

 

Jeez after reading all this **** about training companies. I sure am glad i grew up around the business and my grandfather taught me to drive spent a year and a half with him training me. Cre is right down there with the whale**** in the ocean. Thought slavery went away?. Guess not just work for a large fleet.

 

Yes as someone said before please keep them cre trucks in the right lane, got stuck behind some in nebraska last night over 5 friggin mi, both of them drag racing those freightliner crapcadia's. I realize everyone has the right to pass but these big companies with the governed trucks drag racing for mi on end is enough to drive you up the friggin wall. Back out of it and let him by. Oh by the way what's with the flash the high beams when trucks pass them crapcadia's do them junkers not have on/off switches?.
