First, about teams, it only benefits the drivers when they skate the income. Two random people, all you do is sacrifice being allowed to take extra stops within your 14 hour clock and privacy, to make the same money.
Second, assuming you get paid 40cpm, and can get a route for 3k miles every week, that's $62k before tax. Throw in sage driving bonuses some companies do, any extra miles since 3000 is a pretty exact number, getting to $80k+ within a few years isn't an impossible idea.
That money is there, but not everyone can do it. If you want to go home, you're not making that money. If your home is whatever truck stop you parked at, the potential for a lot is there. And 40cpm isn't exactly hard. I'm already getting offers to make that.

It's like this unless you go to one of those companies who haul tail and take names. Like Abilene or Freymiller. The other companies are happy with you getting 2500 miles a week. The more they pay you. The more tax they pay, and they don't like that. Also running 3500 miles a week will get old, and you will be hoping for a day or 2 layover at some meat plant in 10 buck 2. The companies that do haul tail will normally have a low mileage pay, but I have seen some start at .35 but when you get to orientation they tell you. 10 cents of that is Per dium. Also as a rookie you probably are not use to driving and sometimes driving 5 hours can be tough so I wouldn't try to go with those high mileage companies until I know I can handle their hectic gota be there. Expecting you to bump your 11th hour each day. Yes you can gross or sometimes even take home a grand a week, but that will also come with the stress you had to put up with to make it.

Hahaha.
Ok lets do some math 4500 miles . And lets divide it by lets say 50 mph .. hmmmm what do ya get .. its 90 hrs
And I basically drove about 10 hrs a day some less and some more , and before it goes any frother yea when my 10 hr break was up I drove again ......... so some days I drove more then others .....
So any more smart remarks .. I really try to be civil , but do not and I mean do not . Make me out to be dum or a lier , cause I will get irritated. .... -
#1 You need to READ HEADLINE OF THREAD AND TOPIC. It does NOT say let's brag and lie of what we wish we could make. #2 For a reality answer to this new person wanting to become a driver that started this THREAD is not your figures. #3 NO COMPANY (large,Majority) dispatches that many miles. #4 There's NO WAY you are doing that 100% legal. So let's give this person reality figures THEY asked for and not some pipe dream of 4500 miles a week they will never see unless working for themselves. K apish ?? JMO
Dinomite Thanks this.
