you dont want to get off main roads with a 4 axle unless directed to by customer .the overweight fines would kill many days wages . i know it sucks waiting for roads to reopen but not much a guy can do as long as ontario keeps allowing people to get driver licenses with no real tests involved

Very true magoo.. Muff I've never worked for day and don't plan on it. I was running medium and heavy duty tow trucks until I got burnt out from the million hour months.

I have the Rand McNally Motor Carriers Atlas and their TND-720 GPS. Wouldn't leave home without it. Google Maps and it's satellite views of location sites is great for scoping out the properties and how much room you'll have when you get there.

10-4 on the long tow hours. I got a tow one night from one guy who worked for Northland Freightliner and was a tow operator on the side . Told me he worked an afternoon shift one time got a call to go to Sault Ste Marie to retrieve a large car and take it to Toronto ASAP. Did the whole round . I thought man ur nuts . Hauled for the outfit on scrapyard hill. 69 s

What`s the problem with Day ? I was thinking about checking them out . Possibly moving to Suds

Nothing wrong with day I just don't do the big companies. Rather stick with the 3-5 truck kinda places.
