Lady trucker and Stormrider you deserve each other. You both burned this owner by not returning his truck to his yard. Both of you abandoned his trucks because you didn't want to just quit and fly home. The reason RRTS won't help you because they know you abandoned this mans trucks. What you both also don't let everyone know is the good things this guy did for you.
Joe F. aka Stormrider: You neglected to tell the forum that this owner let you drive his truck from Atlanta to Orlando and back to Charlotte when your dad died. All on his dime when you just got out of orientation and hadn't pulled a single load yet. Or the fact that he invited you into his home like he does to all of his drivers and allows you to use his home like your own. I know you got a huge steak dinner from him. The way you thank him for all of this is to dump his truck 2300 miles away from his yard. If you didn't want to drive for him or if you think he was asking you to do something illegal why not just drop the truck off in the yard and go home. Instead you reward his compassion with driving his truck to your house and dumping it. xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Lady trucker you really don't even deserve a response. I know he also helped you when you started working from him by loaning you both money to pay your bills. I was at his house when he told you and your partner that if you wanted time off that the truck was to be left in Seattle. You then drive his truck to Charlotte and abandoned it. As far as asking you to drive as a team, and not wanting you to park at truck stops, WELL we all know that teams aren't suppose to stop that's why companies pay more money to them. If you want to drive like a solo driver then don't take a team load. Companies pay extra for expedited team loads and expect the trucks not to stop except for fuel.

WesternEmpire Thanks this. -
Hello TrainerDave, you have said that jfenton1515 is a liar or he neglected to tell the whole story. So what he said about him wanting to run 2100 miles in 3 days as a solo, is that a lie? I bet you didn't even know that this man has repeatedly told us that he drives 1000 miles a day! I guess he lying about that! So what about the rest of us? Are we liars, too? It doesn't matter how long someone has been in business. Things and people change. If you work for Loftis, how is it you are looking at applications for drivers of his company? Unless, you work for Roadrunner. Seems to me there is some backhanded mess going on! Am I right? Enlighten me!!!

Wow he wants you to drive 700 miles a day. What happens if you didn't???? Did he have a electric shocker rigged up in the truck??? If he was asking you to do something you weren't comfortable with why not just not take the job. Instead you go on a public forum and admit to falsifying your logs and admit to slandering his company to the DOT. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

TrainerDave, you are full of xxxx!!! How dare you!!! First of all, WE DID NOT ABANDON ANYONE'S TRUCK!!!! If that is the story this man is telling, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx!! Like we have been doing, we were scheduled to go to Charlotte and drop that load. As it was discussed in Sumner at his house, I was suppose to go home and Shawn to keep running. He can't run without a load, or didn't you know that??!!? I realize that you are not a driver, and if you are, then not a very good one and don't know the business!! YOU ARE MAKING EXCUSES FOR THIS "MAN"! TRYING TO GIVE HIM REASONS WHY HE SHOULD NOT PAY DRIVERS THAT LEAVE HIM!!! Since this has nothing to do with you, keep your mouth shut and get out of it!!! My partner and I have been a team for 8 years and has never had any problems running and making money. We stop at truckstops, rest areas when we need to or want to. As long as our logs are right and get the load there when it is scheduled to, reasonably, we are allowed to stop!
Yeah, he loaned us money, which he took back when we got paid, num-nutt!! No matter how you slice it, he's wrong!!! I talked to him on the phone and he told me to take our stuff out of the truck and he would send someone to pick it up. SO IT WAS HE THAT FIRED US, WE DID NOT ABANDON IT! I GUESS HE DIDN'T TELL YOU THAT PART!! IF HE REALLY WANTED THE TRUCK IN SEATTLE, THEN HE WOULD HAVE WAITED UNTIL WE/HE RETURNED AND FIRED US, HE DIDN'T! So don't tell me that BS until he tells you the whole story and NOT lies!!!

After you!

Question...
Does this company provide 3500-3700 miles a week solo, consistently? -
LadyTrucker the run John F. is referring to is a 4100 mile run that he has seven days to complete not three days. You need to get you facts straight. Who cares if he drives 5000 miles a day what business is that of yours.
You and StormRider have no credibility when you abandon a truck on the road. Every experienced driver know the costs of recovering a truck after a driver leaves it somewhere. You xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx got what you deserved, I hope Mr Loftis sues both of you for damages. Posting on this public forum threats all is admissible in court. A real brilliant move LadyTrucker.Last edited by a moderator: Dec 23, 2013

Yes dedicated runs the same every week. Drop and hook on both ends.
-
TrainerDave - thanks. Glad to see a company out here running to make $$$. Only way a driver can make good money is if the company isn't setting us up to fail! Not aware of your company, so not willing to get into the previous conversation - but have a great Holiday!
