How well the sit is a matter of personal opinion. But when I bought my new Pete it had National seats. They have 7 year warranty. I had 2 warranty claims and they were great to deal with. I called them and told them about the problem all they wanted was some info off the seat frame so they could get me the right parts. No questions asked and didn't want the old parts back either. I know I will probably buy National seats again because of customer service.
Need new seat National or Bostrom

National is Paccar's choice of seat's unless someone want a different seat brand.

That is right. But when I had problems I called them directly instead of dealer and they treated me very good. Yes they truck was out of "Peterbilt" warranty but seat were still in "National" warranty. A lot of suppliers don't work well with customers without going through dealer. But I know one thing a lot of people have said and I agree with get the one that feels best for you because you are going to be spending a lot of hours in it.

I got a Sears Elite last year in October IIRC.
Seat cushion has been replaced already, and the stitching on the new one looks shabby too. Not a good buy on my part. Probably work decent for a guy with some more butt than me, but it is wide for no reason IMHO.
My last seat was a National Premium with back cycler. It lasted @8yrs. It was a FAR better seat than the Sears.

If price isn't your primary concern then I recommend trying the Bose Ride. You can try it for 30 days and if you change your mind you can have your old seat put back in all expense for the switching of seats covered by Bose. Also you can finance it at about $250 per month until it's paid off at 0% interest.
I have a Bose Ride and if I bought another truck I'd put a Bose Ride in it without hesitation.
My priority for a seat was comfort/protection from shock and vibration and nothing else on the market can do what the Bose Ride does. So purchase price was only one price I considered. You only get one back and the discs in your back weren't designed for what they're subject to in a truck. I understand that most drivers are stuck on the purchase price of the seat though. -
For the better part of my career my butt has been in a National seat. This goes back to the time when they were based in Mansfield, Oh. Probably before some of you were born. The few trucks I drove with Bostroms turned me against their seats. Recently bought a truck from a friend of mine. He replaced the original seat with a Wide Ride I. Hate to say it but I can not say anything bad about the Wide Ride. The lower cushion is starting to break down, but Bostrom only wants $69.00 for a new one. The upholstery is worn but not bad and i'm picky. The Wide Ride II has some kind of memory foam in it and if it's as comfortable as my mattress topper I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Wide Ride II. I'm still a National guy but the Wide Rides are impressive.

The bose seat is to much money. Knoedler seat looks like a nice seat and has good ratings but the warranty comes short at just one year. Seem to me they do not back up there product. National has seven year warranty also good feed back from drivers.
