Hey yall, I have a pete 357. I had a crazy Idea where to mount my antenna. I am wondering will this work and still have good SWR?

I don't think so. I needs to be mounted higher. In that position the signal can't go forward or backward. just to the sides. Plus I seriously doubt that is a grounded position. Why can't you put it on the mirror?

Its a plastic mirror. .not screws no bars...if it had screws I would put it like the cascadia mount...

How about mounting the same way, but at the top of the truck? -
top of fairing would be in the way..its a company truck so I can't take anything off

MsJamie is right, you have identical "L" bracket above... Will save you SWR tuning headache, and get out much further.

I can't view link 59847, but if you mean factory mount... yes if you run your own coax, it would be great location.
