There is no throttle response in neutral, drive or park. It starts perfect, idles up on cruise control no problem. So far replaced that sensor, coolant sensor, checked harness, tugged wires, stomped the pedal in anger several times and nothing. Pulls code 558 4 now but no others s i fixed other codes parts.

Well if the engine revs ok on cruse, that tells me the ecm is prob ok. Its gotta be some ware in between the pedde and the ecm. It also rules out the engine side. (fuel, airfilter etc.)

I had a similar problem the other day on a truck I was sent to pick up. When I got there it was running on high idle, so I just released the brake and tried to take off, it did the same thing, no throttle. When I set the brake and tried to rev it there was nothing, though it would idle up when I pressed the high idle/set. The cruise had two buttons, one on/off, and one set/resume. It turned out that if you didn't turn the first switch to off, you had no throttle.
