Did you report your 'Trainer' at least.
Anyway you could do a lot worse than Swift. -
If you're in the hiring area, Paschall Truck Lines will probably hire you. Their trucks have APU's also.

do your research, Western Express is a 2nd chanace co. if you get a Good DM you can get decent mile. i have had good luck with them

My brother drives for Western Express... I have heard bad about them not from my brother a course, because he loves them he gets plenty of miles but he barely comes home. Someone mentioned you could do worst then swift that's true. Each company has they bs it's just up to you what B's you are willing to put up with. Good luck driver.

enjoy the time off, be hones, and dont expct the world. trucks are governed at 63 MPH, Idle is 28 and colder and 75 and hotter. no penatlies for idle tho. i am assuming that you are van. if you are you will get eithe a Volvo, Freightliner or International, odds are it will be a auto unless you get an older then it wil be stick

If you went to Swift school, are you still on the hook for paying them back? That could get pricey if you leave.

blairandgretchen and Kapn Thank this. -
Big-M Transportation might hire you; their trucks look as good as TMC's trucks.
Apply with several companies; the worst that can happen is they don't hire you. -
Swift doesn't pay by the hour for training, you get a set salary each week. Something like $300 a week. I get the feeling that you are not being honest with us.
