No call from MRO after positive test

what is MRO.....and VAC? Did you hit positive on a drug test?

 

Medical Review Officer, Vacation, Yep, He tested positive on a pee test.. Define screwed...

 

Twenty One years in and you didn't know any better than that?

Go ahead and get a lawyer... knock yourself out.

 

I dont think there is any legal requirement for them to call you. You failed the test....I dont think anyone cares to take the time to call you. If it were my company I would let you come all the way back to work just to fire you in person. I would especially do that if you had any company property i wanted to make sure i got back. If i told you over the phone you might just run and not give keys or equipment back.

 

Some people never learn and don't value their job.Do a lot of carriers give drug test after coming back from a vacation?I never take vacations paid ones anyway so never thought about it.

 

As much as I hate people who do drugs in this industry, I hope for his sake he doesn't get a lawyer. He is now unemployed and doesn't need to waste more money on this when he should be supporting his family (if he has one). That being said, im glad he go caught. there is no place for drugs in this industry. (Or any industry where your actions could kill people)

 

4 companies I worked for, 3 at the same location, just being bought out at different times, all gave pee tests after vacations.

 

His quote in another tread....4 acidents in 4 months sounds a little more then a coincidence. They will always test after fatality.

I don't drink anything 24 hours before returning to work. Driving with a hangover is almost as bad as driving drunk. Neither drugs or alcohol should be tolerated.
