Oops! And why did I put. LOL and JJ behind it..........just for... not to tear a person down! And yes I do drive in the Same Circumstances, just like most of us do! I don't think he can learn me anything but that will be my personal opinion:)

But back on topic, Who knows a good Alberta oilfield driving job, for the people that want to work in the Patch!

    Happy 1007+1007

Go look at a winch truck, everything on that is on a fishing trawler only it's bigger on a boat. The engines in the trucks and boats are similar. The working hours, living conditions, fatigue etc all similar. The physical act of driving a truck is obviously not the same but driving truck is a piece of cake compared to commercial fishing. Why do you think so many ex-military guys go trucking? Because the conditions of work are very similar. Nate I don't know how old you are or what your life experience is but I have lived on 2 sides of the world and worked some real hard and dangerous jobs so believe me when I say that driving truck ain't no hard job. Go jump on a commercial fishing trawler out of Vancouver for a year and then come tell me you didn't learn anything you could put to good use operating a truck. There's a big world out there buddy and you'd be surprised what skills a person can take from one industry to another.

This part of the forum just seems like a #### measuring contest so I'm out, I got better things to do than go back and forth arguing over #### that don't matter anyways!

once again someone tried to understand how your background helped you in the trucking industry, and you turned his question into an insult. your tightie whities knot up very easy for a trucker, maybe you'd fit better on one of those reality fishing boat series. they're always in a snit about some little detail.

Truckers are probably the biggest group of whiners there is... I grew up in a farming community and I thought farmers were bad.

Q What is the difference between a freshly licensed truck driver and a new-born pup?
A After six months, the new-born pup stops whining.

    belowspeedlimit Thanks this.

I'm sorry, I just didn't understand how fishing and driving went along... Some people need to chill out.

If your going to get upset about people busting your balls don't post photos about what you did. Look here's one of my mistakes from about 2.5 years ago. Everyone can go ahead and make fun of me lol
