In KY as long as 1 person in the conversation knows they're being recorded you can record. However, you can't just walk up to a group and start recording. You have to be a main contributor or "starter" of the conversation. The way it's always been explained to me is: Put a sticker on your doors, just under the windows, that says "This vehicle under audio/video surveillance at all times!" and they can't say nothing about it. Of course, Illinois is a weird state so that may or may not fly. Best bet, call an attorney's office in that state and ask them. Make sure you get a firm name, number and who you spoke with it and write it on a calendar somewhere! Good luck!

We STILL don't have ours!! F&P is saying 'you have an extension until Feb', I say 'can you send me some documentation', they say 'there isn't any we can send', so my question is how were you notified of the extension? How do I prove it to Mr. DOT? GRRR! I just pray we don't get ticketed/stopped/POS for no IFTA!
