Yes it is but it's not limited to the bills.
There is no reason someone can turn their logs in weekly. If you hate mailing them then ask about other alternative methods which are readily available like having a scanner in a truck. You are a business.
Here's the USPS mobile app where you can find any post office en route.

I see that we'll shoot lol. The outfit I'm leased to is tiny. No mailing in logs or bills u just hand them to the dispatcher. Every time I come home I turn in logs which is every week or two.

A company can legally withhold the payment. They cannot hold the payment longer than 15 days.
I am still waiting for the link that states that the lease is illegal. -
Don't feel bad, I'm on e-logs and still get jumped on about turning in my logs on a regular basis. At the end of the day, I'm just too tired to remember to approve my logs, then I forget about it the next day. I've had as many as four days of unapproved logs sitting on my computer before. Log department curses my name on a regular basis, ha ha!

Yes that's right they can't hold your pay past 15 days. As far as a lease being illegal, what I was saying is my brother left a company, faxed OOIDA his lease, they found 5 things outside the truth in leasing act which voids the lease. He took them to small claims court and won a judgement against them.

Can they, Yes. is it right, imo No. but it sure can get the Operator's attention when they do. all they want are copies of your log sheets, turn those in w/ your signed bol and your suppose to get paid.
let's be clear their's a difference from withholding pay and refusing to pay.
