probably a stupid question and likely discussed elsewhere but anyways, 45k a year ....is this decentfor a new driver below 4 months experience?

Either it's a lie, or you're hand unloading freight alley docked in Detroit/Bronx out the side door. -
Plan on 25k to 30k your first yr and not much more after that for at least a couple yrs exp

850 weekly salary, flatbed dedicated and local work .... not a lie ...just not sure its a good deal, and yes I do work hard for it

agreed, was really thinking about the cost of living in most places .... north-east ohio is where I come from. was mostly curious about whether this was good starting average or not ... seems pretty decent to me.

I would be happy with it. seams like its ok for what most say they make the first couple of years, also if you like the job even better. Good Luck !

I sure wouldn't do otr for 25-30k a year even if I was a rookie. I started as a student and i made close to 43k in my first full year pulling dry vans.
