That would be my concern with led headlamps. Would be contrary to safety if you had to stop periodically to clean off ice and snow build up.ziggity Thanks this.

And led lamps don't always automatically equal a long service life. I had to replace an led lamp on one of our trailers that had stopped working. Had to use a regular incandescent marker lamp

i would suspect the number of lights that fail in transit are directly
proportional to the number of cases of VD from toilet seats
That common!
When do they fail, Cranky? -
Trying to be funny but very uninformed... Lights go out all the time yes... Most will go out while in transit, when turned on or off. To say otherwise is just being dishonest or stupid..
My trucks are checked very regularly.. I don't mess around with safety stuff.. I have been out here along time..... and in all my years I have never parked my truck with lights all working.. (yes unlike most I do a pre and post trip) and the next day having a light out.. On more than 1 occasion I have left with all my lights working and got down the road and stopped, to fix a light that had burned out..HappyHardCore Thanks this.
