Cat 6NZ 475HP and 550HP difference

Mr Hanney I Have C-12 Pulling End Dump Cant Get Any Fuel Milage ,Can You Help? Any Ideas. Used To Get 6.5 When It Had 100,000,000 Miles On It. Since I Had It Overhauled I Am Lucky To Get 5.0 Mpg.

Sounds like you got a new low nox tune. My truck had one and I got 4.8-5.3 mpg. Got a pdi tune and turbo and i get 6.1 with winter blend and idling a lot. Summer was a consistent 6.7+mpg. Mr Haney can get you a upgraded turbo and a tune an ull be very surprised.

 

I had a 01 6NZ, 18B, 46 rears with 3.90, 11R24.5. I wasted the money back in 02 at milton and got the same results. No difference in power.

 

on my purple flattop peterbilt379(has a single turbo C-15 475hp) it used to pull dryvans in 2012 wit roadrunner and it used to give 4mpg -.- lol but den wen peterbilt did the overhaul it started to give 6mpg still wit the dryvan lol non of my truckss pull dryvans anymore tho

 

rears 3:90 are strong, so then there is the full proof that dealer & cat dealer turn ups dont work, only work to burn more fuel. a.k.a. just wasting money
