Pattyj, you are correct. I should have asked the company for additional training in backing. Would you suggest that I go back to the school that issued my CDL for retraining?

Sammy, THANK YOU SIR for your service! My Son is the Army and I really know how to appreciate all what you guys do.
NOW, as everybody say, I would take a "refresher" CDL training. With that in hand, which most School will give you a certificate, I believe some Company will give you another chance. Because they will see your effort in getting better and the NEW diploma from a School. In Georgia, you can come for a week training with Katlaw Trucking School, which is not expensive, and get back on track. Search in your area you may find something like this as well.

It is a NEW year, and I hope May God bless you and open a wonderful door for you Sir.

    Here it is Katlaw link:

OttMan, I will definitely look into that one with Hireright (DAC) and find out if they would consider applying a refresher certificate on my record. I do believe that you are right in saying that most companies would see that I am trying in earnest to redeem myself. Thank you for the great advice...

I haven't written to update my journey in job hunting with 4 accidents/incidents on my DAC. I have applied with over 60 companies. Some don't responds to your application, some recruiters want to help you but say that safety gave you a no go, and some talk with you and run far away. Sent in my rebuttal statement to HireRight which they posted. Asked how many companies have requested a copy and they tell me that only one has. I am being upfront and honest about everything and it seems to me that trucking driving is unforgiving. I know I made mistakes in backing but on the highway I was as careful as one could be following all the laws of the road. I found companies that are willing to hire drivers with DUI, rollovers, major wrecks, but they told me that I need 2 more months experience and they will consider hiring me. Arnold called today and told me I need one more week of experience and they would hire me. CR England stated they would hire me, called me and gave me a no go, 30 minutes later sent me a confirmation email for a spot in class, confirmation for a bus ticket, and confirmation for a hotel room. My wife told me I needed to call and they told me it was a mistake. So I am still looking for advice......
